THE ANGEL & THE BRAT

It's time to update on the two precious darlings in my life; Pea and Pumpkin. Am so glad to announce that Pumpkin is now completely cured from mange or in simple term, microscopic mites. Nothing to do with blood or heredity as mentioned by the first lousy vet I went to. After my last post, I was pretty surprise to receive a number of emails from owners whose dog also having same skin problem and diagnosed as blood problem. There is this particular lady who brought her dog to my vet and she emailed to thank me cos her dog is now cured. Just can't believe there are so many con-vets out there who compromise the well-being of their patient for long-term medical fees. So disgusted!

However, Pea got the mange from Pumpkin recently and after 2 jabs, he is now recovering. As usual, my angel Pea always bullied by Pumpkin. There was one incident where Pumpkin cornered Pea and ended up both fighting with one another and one yell from me, both ran away the opposite way. Sigh....although Pea doesn't show his jealousy now, he still feels uneasy with Pumpkin chasing him around.
As for Pumpkin, his fur is growing back very nicely. And how he has grown from slightly bigger than my palm and now he is so much longer and heavier, 4.5 kg to be exact as compared to Pea who weighs 6kg. Still as naughty and bratty as usual with his loud shrieking bark whenever I am within his sight.

Lastly, a picture of two of them together. As Pea refused to be at the same place the same time with Pumpkin, I left with no choice but to entice them with treats. As you can see, they are too busy trying to get a bite to even bother on the presence of each other.

I will be enrolling Pumpkin for Dog Obedience class soon. So hopefully he will turn out to be another angel in the family.

Thanks sista! Oh yes, he got such an obvious notti face. But he is really smart, you should see his tilted head when he saw his own reflection in the mirror. He will look behind at me and then look back at the mirror, wondering why there double-me. Hehe.

Wow, Pumpkin looks so much more sturdy now. His fur looks soft, although still short. Pea still wins over me, however. He has that "please pamper me look" :p

xlb: Hehehe...thanks for the compliment (Slurps from Pumpkin). Yeah, let's hope he doesn't chase other pups around during the obedience class.

NJoe: Angel sounds so normal and Devil sounds so Evil. I would prefer Lil'Monsta!

barbie: Hi!! How's your new job? I was just asking LL this morning if you still visit my blog. Pumpkin getting so heavy now...well..he refused to eat his biscuits until i add in some boiled minced chicken!

Valen: Welcome welcome! Thanks for dropping by and do come more often. Will hop over to your blog after this.

:-D Yes, thankfully I am given access to the internet here. Of course, when that happens, I'll visit the food blogs! If not, it's hard to survive the day.

New job ok-la, still settling in, so cannot fairly comment. Give me a few more months, it'll be either thumbs up or colorful language to describe this job. ;p

kampungboycitygirl: I hope so too. I hope he stops barking loudly at me when I scold him.

tummythoz: Yalor, what a big big contrast in terms of character.

barbie: Working aroung those glittering stones shouldn't be too bad rite? Anyway, wishing you all the best with your new job and do hop by to my blog whenever you need a rest from work yah? :)

christine: Errrmm..I guess maybe you can go to puppy.com.my forum to see if there are any owners wanna breed their german shepherd. Hehehe...why not get a toy dog? Afterall, german shepherd pup grows up pretty fast.

iva: Hi Iva! Thanks for visiting my blog. My blogger fren dropped by today and commented that just months ago, she took a pic of Pea with a slipper beside which is exactly the same size of Pea. And now...he grew up so much. Bu that's a good sign, meaning he is super happy. :)

picksickrick: You have a shih tzu too? How old? If you keen on the obedience class, check out www.puppy.com.my. They have classes every weekend at Taman Desa and if i remember correctly, it's RM200 for 10 classes and your dog will even get a cert if he complete the course.
